Fun Times at the A&P Show

Today all of the Junior Team went to the A&P Show for the day.  We all arrived on the bus with our wonderful whanau helpers.  
Team Toru saw and experienced some awesome things, including...

• riding on a carriage driven by a tractor
• seeing Ronald McDonald and BJ the Bear in action
• touching and seeing all sorts of creatures and animals
• sitting on tractors of all sizes and seeing off road racing cars

Trixie the Fairy

This afternoon Trixie the Fairy came to entertain us.  She was able to perform lots of magic tricks.  Trixie was also very, very funny and she made us laugh a lot!  It was her baby's birthday - her baby was a teddy bear :-)

Measuring

Today we had a lot of fun working in pairs to measure each other with wool.  On Thursday we will be comparing our heights and ordering our class from tallest to shortest.

Alfie visits Team Toru

We had a lovely visit from Alfie.  Alfie is Mrs Hill's 4 month old puppy.  He is super cute.  We got to find out all about him and then have a pat.

We Love Our Gardens!

Today Team Toru were on duty for our gardens.  We all went out and learnt how to use the sprinkler.

Shake Out

Today was Shake Out Day!  At 9.15am Team Toru remembered to "Drop, Cover and Hold".  We know how to keep safe when there is an earthquake!

Today we had biking.  We have come a long way since the beginning of the year...
