Welcome back to all tamariki and whanau for 2015!
Team Toru has had an amazing first week back at school. We have had a wonderful time getting to know each other and discovering our classroom.
We have also been learning lots and lots of new things like...
- how to get ready for the start of our school day
- how to use all of our reading and maths games
- learning about giving five when we are on the mat
- making sure that we are responsible for our belongings in the cloakbay and in the classroom
We have also been learning how - 'You Matter'. That is, that we are all a taonga (treasure) in our classroom. We are unique and special, each and everyone of us! HOW AWESOME!
These are just a few of the wonderful areas of learning we have been working on during our first week back to school.
